What about flavor?  Cheetos are tough to beat.  Important factor in the spicy chip game imnho.

Cheetos. no question.

The Flamin' Hot tater chips don't combine cheese and red pepper so they lose out.

Not really spicy at all.  Not bad for flavor though.  Probably are really good late at night for munchies.

Also not spicy, but the "spicy sweet" chili Doritos are quite tasty. They're in the purple bag (if you can find them, Wal-Mart had last time I was there).

Definitely with you on the spicy lays being surprisingly spicy, and the flamin cheetos being much better in the flavor department. I like the jalapeno cheddar Cheetos myself. They're not as hot as the flamin hot cheetos, but tastier imo.

go to dillions

go to the olive bar section

get the garlic cloves marinated in oil with red jalapenos

eat away

(not all that spicy, but amazing tasting)

for a nice snack get a fresh jalapeno, cut a slit in it and stuff with oaxaca cheese then grill it up.

squeeze some lime and salt on it when its done and viola!
