:AA:
Can somebody tell me what I am missing. I think I'll be flying AA in a couple weeks.
I have had the experience of flying,
Southwest :blank:
Midwest :shy:
Airtran ;)

Korean Air and Northwest are the best I've flown. Have not flown American in ages.
-
My fav flight was on TWA to Orlando back in the day. They had nice, v. large and luxurious planes.
(Trans World Dome :curse:)

Frontier is the way to go, either pay 5 bucks and watch cable tv or watch the map with you plane on it. Plus Animals

That sounds amazing.
Hey southwest why should I bring my own entertainment!

not sure what to tell ya. it's an airplane with seats and a free "american way" magazine that features a fat dbag w/ a beard that writes bad stories about his family in the back of it.
DFW is amazing though and if you fly AA there's a decent chance you go through it. i challenge anyone to find something nicer than DFW terminal D.

Love the "airport terminal layout" and "route maps" sections.

I'm flying Delta next week to Omaha for some stupid intern "business trip". I hear they don't even sell beer on the flight! :banghead:

who's your favorite international carriers? i was quite impressed with virgin on a 8.5 hr flight from london to delhi. i know that lufthansa is really hit or miss with people but i like them - constant staple on the frankfurt to chicago flight.
-
frontier is one of the best. i had a 6 hour flight so the TV was a no-brainer.

This.
The night before your flight, when you check in online, you can choose a new seat from what's available. If I can move up to one of the extra wide seats in the first eight rows or so, I always do.
If you wait and try to do that when you check in at the airport, they'll charge you $50.

Also, their seats are better overall even without getting an extra wide.
