So we are still unpacking some things and I got into my KSU memorabilia box. I've been wondering what to do with my signed tickets. I have one prized one that is Bill Walker's first KSU game. I've also got others like Cartier, Hoskins, Young, Murder, Colon, and Benneck. I originally intended to have anyone who made the NBA in one frame. So Walker, Beasley (never quite got that one) and Maybe Cartier or Bennett (ha!) But now I either put Cartier and Walker in one frame, Or Walker by himself, or all of them (But the Bennet one would devalue the rest imo) or Hoskins Cartier and Walker in the same frame. What do the rest of you think? I'll probably put the walker one in one frame by itself.
Subthread, I was going through the rest of the box and found:
-Generic KSU poster signed by 07-08 team minus Dom and Jamar (need that in a frame too)
-Bennet Basketball Card
-Walker Basketball Card from both years
-Huggins Basketball Card
-Huggieville Basketball Card
-Cartier Basketball Card
-Hoskins Basketball Card
-Merriwether Energy Card
-Andre Gilbert Basketball Card
-Program featuring Frank and other coaches.
-Hat signed by 07-08 team minus Dom and Jamar
-Billy Walker and Beasley Popsicle-stick faces
-Doom sign autographed by last years team.
What cool crap do you guys have? :billypopcorn:

It would take me hours to list out all of the cool KSU crap I've got. Let's put it this way: I have between 10,000 and 15,000 KSU basketball cards alone including the 1988 set. Nevermind the football cards, baseball cards, volleyball cards, uncut card sheets, programs, posters, action figures, autographed Bill Snyder "100th Win" football, signed cards and photos, etc. I really need to start cutting back to tell you the truth.

I forgot to mention a massive stack of Powercat Illustrated magazines dating back to 1999. I've been trying to decide whether to burn them or donate them to the Salvation Army. FYI my dad is the one who subscribed to it and gave them to me after he was done reading them. I tried unsuccessfully to get him to dump the subscription after the Patterson debacle.

Game worn and signed jerserys from the entire 2008 hoops team from the ku game in Manhattan...also a hand written letter from Frank that came with them thanking me for my EMAW. The entire South Goalpost from the 1998 NU football game. Some more garbage I'll never look at.

I wondered where that goalpost in your back yard came from.

Ell Roberson glove from senior day.
Autograph from Jeff Kelley on a children's menu at Amarillo BBQ (it used to be called that, now it's a Mexican restaurant, it's by Motel 6).
I went and asked Jeff for an auto I think he was with his family or something and everybody in the restaurant had a collective "Aw!!" I was like 8 years old.

Did the same type of thing w/ Kevin Lockett during an MHS football game just on some scratch piece of paper though IIRC. :users:

A glove from Jamie Mendez after we beat Oklahoma in 1993 and a signed football by Snyder, Bishop and Gramatica.
But my most prized possession is an empty cigarette carton autographed by Darnell McDonald after we beat Nebraska in 98. The best part about it was where I acquired it at. I can't remember the Apartment name, but it was the one right by the ATO house. My buddy lived right above Darnell and he was absolutely crap faced that night. I wanted him to sign my bottle of Bartons Vodka, but hiding that from the parents wasn't always easy. So it was the cigarette carton instead. There was a lot of EMAW that night. Paco May even made an appearance!

At the Asbury camp we took pictures with him and we ended up sitting on his knee :ugh: for the picture and were sent a 5x7 picture.
It looks quite akward but so does his face.

- my 1997-98 basketball press pass
- game-used jerseys of Matt Siebrandt, Lamar Chapman, and some random dude who wore my favorite number (49) a few years back
