I'd be interested to see these stats converted to % of stadium filled, as Kentucky and Cuse are 1-2 because of their gigantic arenas. Regardless, some Big 12 info:
ku 9th
Horns 20th
Iowa St. 30th (surprised me the most)
OU 32nd
Nebraska 39th (how can we not outdraw them?)
Oklahoma St 43rd
MU 47th
Tech 48th
A&M 49th
Cats 57th
Baylor 78th
Even Wichita State out-drew us. We need butts in the seats for Frank to stay.

Really sucks.

Meh

1. Why we have been over this before Iowa Statians go crazy for their bball.
2.STFU we don't need an attendance thread months after the season is over.

Iowa State'ians also sell the sh1t out of the football stadium. It's weird.

Not weird at all. The literally have that little to do in Iowa.

They literally have as much, if not more, to do there as the Great MHK :dancin:

I don't think you understand how to properly use the word literally :users:

There is no excuse for Iowa State basketball out-drawing Kstate basketball.
None.
Don't even defend it.
I was embarrassed for our school in some of our turnouts this year, like Baylor for example. We have the most fickle P.O.S. lazy fans in the Big XII. If you don't like that then go bitch about it on gpc.
I really hope Wally Judge can get some people to show.
-
good. my seats are getting way too expensive.

I'm not surprised, we are pretty badass fans.

1. Much closer to a reasonably large city.
2. Our OOC games were really bad.

Missouri and Colorado would like a word.

K-State has the worse fans than those too. If nothing else because tards think we have the best fans in the country :scared: :kstatriot:

The economy.
-
I wonder where ku would be if they used the actual attendance numbers instead of claiming every seat to be full for every game.

Still way up there.
-
Lower attendance numbers than Iowa State = somewhat justify. Better recent tradition, attending games is actually a tradition, Hilton Magic, etc.
Lower attendance than Nebrasketball and the Dr. Sadler Experience is indefensible and fracking pathetic on all levels.

Didn't we see this coming? (http://www.ksufans.com/forums/index.php?topic=35924.0)
And seriously, I'd say this is another thing Krause messed up, so I'll blame him as much as the fans. To jack ticket prices like we did with Beasley and Walker leaving was ridiculous. If we had the bench seats at around $10-15 for "non-premium" games, we would've gotten more people to the 'Gon.
-
listened to the Kitez interview w the new AD today. sounded like he was concerned w ticket prices.
wondering if he might consider dropping them. especially for bball. he said one of the areas of concentration was the building a local fan base. maybe dropping ticket prices will get more locals in the seats.
-
There is no reason to complain about ticket pricing. Just buy season tickets and save some money. True wildcats would make it no matter what.
No excuses cat fans be at the games and we will celebrate after a W....... :beerchug:

It's a good idea. Finding ways to make noncon throw away games less expensive would be a good start too.

57th sounds about right to me

I'm moderately suprised it was that high

You can't raise ticket prices and roll out a $hit home OOC schedule and expect large early season crowds.
-
next year we will have home games vs the following
Xavier
alabama
washington state
texas
texas AM
OSU
that's 6 sellouts right there. our home scheds this past year wasn't up to my liking. lots of "i was busy" games.

Agreed, they need to ensure that there is some bargain priced tickets, especially for these OOC games. Why not have some tickets for $10 in the upper reaches of the Octagon? What are the cheapest seats for OOC games now?

I'm not sure how Bama and Wazzu are guaranteed sell outs...

Whether we sell out games is directly correlated with what day they are on and the weather. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
