If 'Tavious were to be a Cat, would he improve our class ranking?

I think you should go ahead and scratch him off the list. He isn't even really mentioning us anymore plus he is still a long shot to qualify.

Wow... way to represent, Big XII!!!  Six teams in the top 25, with four in the top 10.

I'd honestly be more excited with a commit from Aspirilla. ...and he won't help our class rankings at all.

Would Kelly be considered part of this class, or last year's?  Wish he counted.  Another 5* would certainly help things.

Kind of considered this class, but they won't average his ranking from 2005.

Yeah, kinda figured that.  But, bringing in a former 5* guy does indeed improve the class, regardless of whether he is factored into the rankings or not.  If everyone shows, (talking to you Peterson) I'll be pretty damn pleased with this class.  Pretty amazing the talent we are able to bring to Manhattan, especially the non-DCA guys.  Maybe we can get 'Te and Frank to give Snyder some pointers...

True, but don't get too excited about his 5* ranking.  The kid bombed at Uconn.  He could do well here, but he could also bomb.

They sure are high on Henriquez! I think he may be a bigger impact than I thought.

Ummm.... My thinking was if he wasn't redshirted than it was a success. If he gets 5-8 minutes a game than I will be very happy.

I wouldn't mind him being red-shirted at all.  Won't be any help this year.  If Frank chose to do it, I wouldn't bat an eye.

Agreed.  Same with Martavious.  Barring injury.  We're 10 deep with either Brown or D-Pete.  That's pleanty.

Do you think it would be benificial to redshirt Irving? I always believed that guards were more college ready, and a redshirt wouldn't improve their game so much...

Irving will score between 10 and 11 points this season, should grab between 10-11 boards as well.  redshirts are for pussy programs like Iowa State.

I'd almost keep Martavious in play.  We could be deep at guard or not if Dpete doesn't show or Fred leaves.  I think Mart will be more ready in terms of being able to provide some relief on the defensive end.  I like the idea of redshirting big men projects more than guards.  Besides, if we get Freddy, and redshirt 2 guys that would be 3 red-shirts?  This is not Nebrasketball!
