You have to feel good when you beat out so many of your rivals for a recruit.
-
I don't think its so bad. Seems like a decent athlete, but more importantly could help out with his teammate, a DE who has been offered by MU and us (among others).
IMO, its good to be getting back into Texas recruiting.

dunno, think we could do worse. :dunno:

Let's see here.
A kid from Texas with offers from Colorado State, Wyoming, and La Tech, with recruiting interest from Oklahoma State, Baylor and tcu.
Or . . . early commits from kids like Kaleb Drinkgern.

If I didn't like K-State football, I wouldn't care about the state of its recruiting, would I? That's what you need to understand, fats.

dood can make some wicked lemonade though.

Watch the video.
He looks like a solid three star to me just basing it on his "lateral quicks" and his hips and glutes. Of course, we'll get a better clue with some non-wind-aided times in the 200meter and some long jump distances.
He's also black and small, so the Darren Sproles comparisons apply here as well.
All in all, good pick up, IMO.
-
I'll comment further when I see his 100meter times.
But I'll stand by the statement of Legit D1 prospect.
-
Highlights looked pretty good to me. :woohoo:
:dunno:

Is it just me, or have we compared about 50 RB recruits to Sproles since he graduated?
-
At least that many . . . and the only thing I see that even compares to Sproles is the kids size. Otherwise the "turnover" in the legs and feet isn't anywhere close to Sproles.

Very true but I don't think we have had the actual coaching staff make that comparison... according to the article on his commitment he was told by the kstate coaches that he reminded them of Sproles.

Every coach tells every kid that they remind them of the best player they have previously coached at that position.
