400 stalls for faculty 500 for students, and 350 timed stalls. sure the numbers are in favor of the students, but drive past the waters parking lot at about 8 am, (not this week as finals is always week but during the semester) students stalls full, red strippers/faculty etc. half fracking full. frack building new crap to look big time, give weber a facelift, give the military building a facelift, fracking bulldoze 90% of the facility buildings, but hey that new leadership building

The gate key thing is only thirty dollars for students because it's going to be 200 for faculty. Students that drive to campus are lame anyway. There's no reason students can't walk or bike to campus.

QFT.  Even if you live a bit off campus, you still save time by not driving around looking for parking.  And lol at those dudes that go to campus like two hours early to sit and wait for a spot.  During that time you wasted in your car looking like a douchebag I walked home, ate lunch, rubbed one out, took a nap, and walked back to campus.

Its just like the lot that was there before, only like 3x more parking spots. Whats the big deal?  Students don't have to pay crap to park in it if they already pay to park on campus. Faculty have to pay like 3 times more than students.

I only drove 1 year, and I always parked in BFE so as not to have to play parking lot roulette.

Probably the last thing Frank and 'Te will take the recruits to. The garage is the new deal closer. It will be etched in the 'cruits minds forever.

The parking garage really doesn't fix the parking problem on campus. It also doesn't address the fact that other crap buildings are getting old and that the university is running out of space.

We should have dozed all the parking lots immediately on campus to open up space for new buildings and or green space. Parking garages should have gone on the west side of the old stadium and behind Weber. Also could put a parking garage out by the rec. Then you need a kick @$$ shuttle system in town for students, and the shuttle can also serve the garages to drop people off on the main part of campus if they need it (too lazy to walk).

Our dorms are also way behind what other schools have. We built the new Jardine stuff and it will be a crap hole in 10 years (crappy construction and design IMO). So pretty much the people who get to make the decisions on this sort of stuff are stupid.

there is no parking problem. and aren't garages suppose to be on campus? building it where u said would seem worthless, those places are on the edges of campy.

Yep, and edge that everyone sees.

Also, the only parking problem K-State has is that there is parking "on campus," so everyone wants to park "on campus." If almost all the parking were in the edge of campus nobody would complain (except for the fat lazies that don't want to walk for 3 minutes). Would still have to have handicap parking and prolly VIP parking "on campus."
