Title: scariest music?
Post by: BigCat on May 08, 2009, 11:01:56 PM: for me the TOPS is the theme to Unsolved Mysteries. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: I have it on my comp. and literally cannot listen to it unless I turn on every light in the house and make sure I have my back to a wall so nobody can creep up on me. Truly terrified when that music comes on. Also listening to the theme from CEOTTK right now and it's kind of creepy.

Have you seen Roland's VG-99? Pretty cool in that they included something that functions a lot like a theramin but it's programmable such that you can use it to vary lots of parameters. Neat stuff.

I always get a little creeped out when I hear the Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark? themes. Those really scared me when I was little.

I have to seriously agree with this. People always over look the music in this movie. It's so freaking awkward and nerve rattling at all the right places. I've never heard a more effective score.
