do you use bar soap or the liquid soap?? pros/cons??
do you use a wash cloth, round snowflake ball thingy, or just hands?? pros/cons??
i use the bar soap, its tried and true and lasts quite a while. the liquid crap makes me feel like a baby seal afterward and it runs out to fast. i also dont use a wash cloth or the snowflake type thing. imo they are just germ spreaders and mildewy. plus i am cheap and wont buy enough to use a new wash cloth every time i shower.
discuss.

liquid soap, with little beads in the liquid.
-
I was all about using a bar until Mrs. OKCat bought me the snowflake-thing on a string. I protested, but after I used it I decided that it was manly in its own special way.
-
The liquid soap lasts a whole lot longer when you have the snowflake thingy on the string... You don't have to use near as much soap when you have one of those things...
-
bar soap on the face
liquid and loofa (sp?) on the rest
-
The thing on the string is fine.
Anyone else use the all-in-one man soap/shampoo? Great stuff and only have to worry about one bottle.
I suppose if you actually have hair you probably should use real shampoo.
-
I use a loofa and body wash, seperate face scrub.

this
love the loofa
another advantage of liquid soap: no residual curlies

damn, i am out numbered. i really dont like that slippery baby seal feel after using that liquid crap.

A lot of that depends on the softness/hardness of your water imo

i use bar soap and then toilet paper instead of a wash cloth. works great and the chicks dig it + it's environmentally friendly because you don't have to wash the toilet paper, it just washes away.

thats whats great about a loofa once it gets to strung out you just throw it away.

Showers are for sissies. I just go down to the crick near my house and splash around for awhile, maybe use a catail to scrub the hard to reach areas.

QFT
I've always been more of a "cologne" man.

showers are actually fantastic. the longer the better. i take about a 15 minute one every morning. just stand there. sometimes bring a cup o' coffee in there w/ me.

I turn the shower on, sit on the toilet in my PJ's still. Doze off for about 10 minutes. Realize I'm late. Wash my hair, slap some deodorant on and hightail it to work.

I love drinking cocktails in the shower (and yes, I am aware of how that sounds).
Also, morning beers in the shower before an 11 am kickoff were pretty fantastic.
-
I fall asleep in the shower everyday.

Reminds me of your "fudged" comments the other day. It's a shame I'm the only one that commented.

Let's all just admit that we're dudes, we use loofahs, we realize it's super :ku:, but it's awesome so we don't give a damn. Mine's purple, though. :kstatriot:
I offset the fruitiness of the loofah by occasionally taking a power shower, i.e. pounding a beezo or two in there before heading to a party.

do you use bar soap or the liquid soap?? pros/cons??
Liquid soap. Bar soap is to slippery to hold onto and at times gets pubic hair stuck to it. :yuck:

QFT, was always parinod of some roommate  , rubbing my bar all over the sack and bung hole so i switched to liquid and loofa and make sure the loofa is dry and has not been used since the last time i toke a shower.
know a dude that used to go around to buddies houses, or at parties etc. and when he went to take a piss he would grab the bar of soap in the shower and pluck a bunch of armpit hairs and cover it so it looked like pubes
-
most of the time i use a bar soap on the fluffy ball string thingie.... then when i'm feeling randy i bust out the shower gel.
-
also what do you do with the bar when it gets to the point that it crumbles in your hand? hate to toss away $$. RLS does get tired of having to throw away roommates soap when it is in this stage and blocking the drain. :curse:

Lever 2000 w/ Vaseline or Aloe, both are amazing. I go through ridic. amounts of soap. Can not get enough of it. Tried a bar of Burts Bees a couple months ago and was sorely disappointed because the scent was completely gone by the time I was done drying off. I mean completely gone, fellas.

Why haven't I thought of this? Genius, IMO.

lufas are acceptable if showering with the spouse.

Tell me about it. I should just send you those comments in PMs.

Very true. What's awesome is when you completely quit worrying about offsetting it and you just savor a few mimosas before heading off to Sunday brunch (one of my fave meals; where else is it acceptable to eat an omelet, prime rib and cheesecake all while drinking before noon?).

I use a bar w/ a washcloth. This eliminates the pube problem. You just have to make sure you allow your washcloth to dry properly.
Here's another tip if you want to use a washcloth w/ either a bar or liquid....use a baby washcloth. They are a little smaller and thinner so they dry really easily between uses. They suds up just as good as a normal washcloth. And, they are much cheaper then the big shaggy expensive washcloths.
According to my wife a washcloth exfoliates better than the snowball poof thing, apparently this is important :dunno:

A number of people here are now assumed to look just like Mrs. Smails, shower-cap, check, loofa, check. :eyeseeyou:

Not sure. I think it's the ghey equivalent of a secret handshake? So they can spot each other (as if the umbrella wasn't enough...)
