Normally, yes BUT if Wall goes to one of the traditional powers, he wants to be able to point to this incident as why he didn't end up with the Massa.

I'm afraid it looks like John is pretty much a lock to ku. Looks like he's used to the idea of power-hungry yokels with pot bellies shaping his future.
