Title: The KSUcks juggernaut
Post by: BR Emp on October 09, 2006, 11:37:07 PM
12 bowl game appearances in 113 years of playing football, quite impressive indeed...

1 bowl appearance before 1993, ZERO prior to 1982... impressive...

KSUcks could go undefeated for the next 10 years and still be below .500 lifetime... magnificent!

435-578-41 lifetime record... WOW! astonishing achievement, must be pretty hard work to be that damn awful...

9 ZERO win seasons...

14 1-win seasons...

14 2-win seasons...

an unprecedented run of 35 straight seasons w/ 6 wins or less... 1955-90 (and only won 6 games twice in that span,  '70 and '82)

DB LOVE BABY, DB LOVE!!!

That would be good smack talk - If we were alive when all of those things actually took place. :blindfold:

-1 endzone dive.

Too bad Huskers can't claim they're living up to theirs...

NEWS FLASH AFTER FUSKERS LAST GAME IN MANHATTAN....

Sent: Sunday, October 24, 2004 9:27 PM

Apparently the KSU athletic department is reporting a "Big Stick" was discovered in the visiting team's locker room at Wagner field in Manhattan. The stick is painted Husker Red and has the name LeKevin Smith on it.  It was widely wondered if the stick was to be taken onto the field during the recent KSU - NU game. This stems from reports early last week in the Omaha papers where apparently NU Defensive Player LeKevin Smith had stated he intended to "lay into the KSU players and beat them with a Big Stick" in what was understood to be payback for last years game in Lincoln. If anyone in the Husker Alumni association can help locate this young man the KSU athletic department would like to see the property returned to its owner. He can be assured the stick is well preserved and in "like new condition" with not a scratch on it.

This just in from the AP.
In a statement released late Sunday evening LeKevin Smith reports he was "misquoted" by the Husker media. In a written statement from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, LeKevin cleared up the "Big Stick" controversy. Apparently he had intended to say he was going to leave a "Big Stink" in Manhattan. The KSU athletic department had no response to this statement by the Huskers but it was widely rumored that a "Big Stink" had been left on the field by the visiting team in Saturday's contest.

Are we quoting scores now?  We can go there, but really I'm tired so let me take a combined score guess.

NU 2420
KSU 921

That forfeit in '52 really hurt your average.

As bad?  Or, worse than the way our defense treated Miss Taylor last year in Lincoln?

Too bad he couldn't finish the game... He was doing great.

As good as our defense is (better than last year) looks like Taylor may get knocked out before the half.

Who's the backup anyway?

Beck?

It doesn't have to be as bad, Free will fold after the 5th or 6th big hit and Dylan will come in to show him how to take a hit from the big boys.  Too bad Everidge isn't around he took a hit as good as anyone.

Of course, that's assuming he passes more than 6 times.

Don't knock Taylor out, or then you'll be faced with the guns of Joe Ganz.  Very imposing.

You'll recognize the gameplan if it happens though, very similar to last weeks plan from the Manatee.

Speaking of records, the funny thing is my record book shows the Cobb hasn't won in Manhattan in a decade.

I know recent history isn't really your bag, like stuff that's happened in the last 10 years, but good luck with that one and stay classy.
