Jesus. Detroit might be the dumbest professional organization I have ever seen in the history of sports.

The Detroit Lions agreed to terms with Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford on a six-year, $78 million deal that includes an NFL-record $41.7 million guaranteed, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Friday. The deal represents the largest amount of guaranteed money for any player – rookie or veteran – in NFL history
No rookie is ever worth that kind of money when they have never taken an NFL snap.

I disagree. It seems like they have really figured out this draft thing this time. Seriously though, letting them draft first overall is not unlike letting a retard do your taxes. Everyone (outside of the retard) knows it's gonna end up all &@#%ed up, but it's worth it because it will also be hilarious. "132 plus bacon equals boobies? Well, I guess we'll offer him 41.7 mil guaranteed then."
