Title: Is Freeman actually going to be in the "green room" for the draft?
Post by: Pete on April 23, 2009, 12:17:48 PM: It was reported by someone that Josh was invited to attend the draft in person. However, this morning on 610am in KC, Rodger Twibell was mentioning that Josh would be "waiting anxiously by his phone." Wasn't sure if Roger had the updated scoop, or was just clueless.

Anyway, it seems to me that Josh would choose to avoid the green room, so as not to make a &@#%ing laughing stock out of himself. :dunno:

They've been good friends for a while. Freeman is actually a nice kid, used to hang out a little with the guy.

Seriously, how can you not laugh at this potential hilarity of this situation.

Ron Prince and his asinine proclamation that Josh would be the #1 pick in the draft last summer at Catbacker events. Josh and all of his Big XII honorable mention glory jumping to the draft as a true junior because he thinks he's first round material.

So many great self inflated idiot story lines here just waiting to be played out this afternoon......

It speaks volumes of the ego level involved when the two best QB's in the conference opt to stay for their senior years. Prince & Freeman: A match made in used car dealership heaven.

Denver's second 1st round pick is coming up at 18...they need a QB. Tampa Bay is right after them at 19, and they need a QB as well. If there is no trade before the 18th pick, it means neither want Josh, IMO.
