Apparently I'm a couple of weeks behind but the Royals made quite the drastic jump from #24 to #14.

We should be ahead of the White Sox. Did he see that we won the series there?

A minor slip to #17. I expect our ranking to fluctuate all season!

Our offense is horrendous... our power rating should never be too high because the only thing good about this team is our pitching.

I really don't even worry too much about the power rankings.  If the Royals keep doing what they've been doing and maybe start hitting the ball even decently, they'll be in the thick of the Al Central race.  Who here wouldn't be ecstatic to see the Royals in the postseason?  (Well, me, I guess.  More a Twins fan than a Royals fan, but I do like to see KC do well.)

We've fallen a little but we'll be ok if we can just get Soria back

No need for Soria in games you score 1 run or less (most of the time)
