Title: football topic: 4-20-09
Post by: fatty fat fat on April 20, 2009, 10:21:47 PM
do we have any rbs coming in? i really hate keithan valentine being the starting rb. gives me nightmares of that game vs louisville where i made every1 sign their name that we would win, then we lost and we all looked bad.

JMHO.

Childs will take over the duties at some point during the season and the Josh Scobey comparos will begin.

Valentine will be a back-up and unlike the former staff that told him nothing, this staff will tell him he just isn't good enough and he can play the role of Chris Claybon.

Hubert ?  Daniel Thomas is too big to be rb unless he has serious wheels.

Found it on the internets and added a few tweaks.  One of my Top 5 hoops EMAWs.

That's the guy I was thinking about.  Heard some really nice things about him.  Hope he pans out.

It'll be Hubert or Childs.

Thomas will take a bunch of direct snaps (if he isn't starting at QB).

You do have to laugh a little . . . Ron Prince, hey it's major college football, but we only need to practice for 1 hour and 45 minutes, and gosh if we run real hard between stations and give it our all that's all we need to do.

He couldn't afford to waste much time actually preparing his team, he was way too busy coming up with cheesy slogans and deciding who gets to carry what flag.

Sorry to say, but for as long as I have been around these here things called message boards; PW has never been correct.

Do we even know for sure if both Flanders and Hubert are making to campus? If so, I would hope we could RS one of them.

Do we have any reason to believe they won't be on campus?  Also, with the dearth of talent (especially at RB) we will have this season, redshirting probably won't be an option.  Unless that person really blows or something.

Of course, that's why his other offers were powerhouses like Montana State, Idaho State, LaTech and Slippery Rock.  No Texas offers...not even tcu.

Done, though I was glad to see a bit of the Wildcat.

With the influx of talent at RB, it's not too late to move Childs to LB. We could use his size and speed there.
