Title: stupid espn
Post by: BigCat on April 14, 2009, 02:41:43 PM
Getting really tired of some of the ways they choose to fill up their airtime. McShay just spent five minutes talking about whether Stafford is a boom or a bust. Followed by Golic saying how the Lions can't take a chance on taking him with the first pick because of how far it might set them back if he was a bust. Where besides hell or oklahoma do the Lions have to go? Pretty much like the KC Weeps. :banghead:

What of any of that is wrong? Do the names Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Heath Shuler and Andre Ware ring a bell? I think the Lions will take Stafford but I think it's a mistake. If I were them I'd take Jason Smith or B.J. Raji. The NFL of all leagues is the ultimate "wait until next year" league. Look at what the Dolphins did last year. So I have absolute confidence that the Chiefs and the Lions will both be good AND SOON (especially the Chiefs)! If you don't like the way sports are covered BY PEOPLE WHO ARE PAID TO DO SO, you may want to listen carefully to the next part, DON'T BE A SPORTS FAN!
