Sometimes during a song, this ghostly white "path" goes from note to note. What does that mean/do?

If you have one of the newer guitar controllers I guess you can use the other set of buttons, you don't have to strum with it.

If you have the les paul or older controllers you can not take advantage of it.

I did a song on hard, felt pretty accomplished.
