I've got the Wyatt/Stan version.
I'll bring OU tape from last season. 28-28.We really had them by the balls. :ksu:
So I had an Idea. Let's get together, like we used to. You know? I am getting older and the seasons are looking sadder. I thought we might hang out and watch old game tapes. And drink. Maybe grill some burgers, or order some 'za or spark a joint. Who knows?
Anyways, it was just a thought. If you are down RSVP below.
Date? Saturday June 6th. 2 days before Kat Kid's Annual 7 Day Chipotle Burrito Challenge Monday Workweek Kick-Off.
Time? TBA but probably high noon so that a full day + possible aggieville outing is possible
Location? Open for discussion. Prolly my mom's house or something.
What to bring? Booze, snacks, one game tape.
Why come? To hang with board bros, enter the raffle, meet KSUfans.com owner and celebrity Terry Pierce* and enter to win the grand prize winner for best game tape (chosen by a straw poll of your peers).
Also: Name that Asbury/Wooly-era basketball player, Pin the goatee on the Fitz and Team Scatagories.
If you bring a friend/non-boarder be sure that you can cover the $5 fee.
Non-Prem's get free entry and Prem's will split the take from any guests.RSVP NOW BELOW!!!RSVP NOW BELOW!!! SRSLY YOU SHOULD DO IT!!!! IT WILL BE PRETTY COOL!!! YOU SHOULD COME!!!! BRING A FRIEND/HOT WIFE/GIRLFRIEND!!!!![/u][/i][/b]

Can't believe I missed this thread until just now.
I am going to start laying the ground work on the home front.

Pete. You're a team chemistry guy. An essential "glue guy" that holds everything together.
Let's do this.

OK.
I think we need to do this up correctly.
I think it need to be treated like "alumi weekend" for ksufans. Below are my ideas (I am not joking about any of them):
- ksufans BBQ contest. Participants compete, the attendees judge, winner gets nice write up on ksufans by Curtis Kitchen.
- ksufans "Tournament of Champions" (concept stolen from the 1994 Intramural MBB One-on-One All University champion runner-up). Participants engage in a series of events to determine the ksufan champion. Events could include: Law darts, Bowling (real or Wii), Skeet shooting, home run derby with aluminum bats and tennis balls, 40 yard dash with recorded 40 times, triple jump (Manhatter would love this)
- Maybe TP can arrange for us to get a group tour of Vanier and BSFS?
- Manhattan scavenger hunt, with designated drivers (could be easily procured from the student ranks).
- Guitar Hero/Rock Band competition (if you can lure 'Clams from the Plaza, he's the early nod).
If Terry can help arrange a Tour of Vanier, I am definitely going to be there . . . I'll be the oldest guy there, but what the hell.

I am COMPLETELY SOLD on the following:
*bbq (CAN WE AMEND TO BURGER/CHEEZBURGER?) comp.
*home run derby/4.0 time/shuttle!!/punt pass n kick? (will bring my knee brace)
*TOUR OF VANIER!!! OMGOMGOMGOMG!! (no way this happens)
*Scavenger Hunt (OMGOMGOMOMGOMGOMG!)
*Guitar Hero comp.
Will probably have to narrow down and combine the scavenger hunt with the competitions so it is like a half-day race/competition so that there is a ridic formula thought up by sys/chingon (the brains) to determine winner. Time + competition points - penalities + beers consumed + post count - elite m'boarder rank (1st place is 0 everyone else is -5 points per place)
Prizes?

jesus these are good ideas.
Do you think I could just call or email someone at vanier and set something (tour or whatev) up? Also could get tee time at CC if anyone wants to golf.

This thing is getting to big for KK's mom's house. May need to reserve picnic area #3 at the city park for a gathering of this girth.

i could send the wife and kids to her parents for the weekend and we could have it at my place. i've got a double wide so room shouldn't be an issue.

You have like 17 dogs though. I sat down on your couch and had a half fur coat when I stood up.

Let's move it to Tuttle. They have excellent open spaces perfect for the athletic events, covered cement slab dining areas, cool with the booze (ID CHECKS MR. WINTERS!) and tons of hot babes @ Hippie Cove.
Can we cap off the night with an EMAW pub crawl?

Have you guys never heard of a beer tp? You know, it pumps the beer and is able to pour out of a hose? You can rent one at a liquor store for pretty cheap. You shouldn't use tools on a keg, since tht would damage it.

I think you need a hose and pliars to hook it to the end. I've seen it done on movies. How much beer is in a keg? Like five 12packs? We may not be able to drink it all if that's the case. Let's not get any micro brews like Corona or Rolling Rock. I can't drink that heavy stuff.
Anybody have a VHS of the '89 Frank Hernandez game?
Please explain this to those such as me who were 6 years old in 1989.
How about thsoe of us who were about 4 months old when the game was played.
(Disclaimer: Was born in May 1989, so that number could change depending on what month the game was played in)

not sure what you need to get the beer out of the keg but i do know that the only place you can tap one is at bars or if you know a cop, they have a special tool to get it out but they obviously aren't going to give us that special tool.btw, clams- what do you need to tap a keg? i can check our garage if you want. my dad has tons (tons) of tools and stuff in their.
