Title: Husker Logic (so far early in the week)
Post by: fatty fat fat on October 08, 2006, 03:51:38 PM
1)Callahan sits on a lead because he doesn't want to show his hand for next week. We just don't blow out teams because we don't want to.(See Troy State 56-0, NSU 56-7, LTU 49-10)

2)Carriker is great, the reason he only has one sack is his D-Coordinator won't let him go after the QB. (He had 10 sacks in 2005)

Kittie logic:

1) Those dozen or so players who have left thus far this year?  Just Prince getting rid of the deadweight.  But that doesn't reflect on Snyder's recruiting -- nuh-uh, no sir!  They used to be good and then turned bad, so both Snyder and Prince are basically perfect.

2) Sure, KSU was ranked 48th in recruiting last year and is on pace to match that spot this year, but it's not about the stars, its about diamonds in the rough, am i right folks?

it's obvious now that freeman is by far the best qb out of the bunch.  the other 3 were deadweight.

Huh, must be that kittie math.  Looks more like a 78.8 to me.
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats/bycategory?cat=Passing&conference=I-A_BIG12&year=2006&sort=30

Not bad though, if he keeps improving his rating might climb to half that of Zak Taylor's.

I'm talking the game where he actually took snaps the entire game.

Oh yeah, I forgot that other snaps don't count.

What's really neat is that if you only count the snaps where Zak Taylor threw a pass for a touchdown, his rating is like 300

They all wanted AE too, and he wasn't even good enough for our high caliber offense  Good thing they got that ASU reject for a year, I hear hes turning that program around.

NU and its fans do not have a rivalry with KSU.  Nor do NU and its fans obsess about KSU.

Sincerely,
the Nebraska fan who signs up on a KSU message board the first day of week of the KSU football game and then procedes to post at a rate of 1 posts per 8 minutes, of which most of those posts consist of making it clear to KSU fans that NU fans don't care about the KSU program.

fatty, ignore this dumbass.  Taylor's first start as a husker(a junior I might add) had a lower QB rating than TFSoul Glo's first career start.

Yep, he can't get over the fact that Freeman dissed Nebraska.

I would put more money on our busting Taylor's ass out of this game than a 6-6 250lb QB facing a non-existant pass rush this season.  Soul Glo will pull the sunshine move on Carriker when he comes in.

Uh oh, another player just quit the team.  :crybaby:  I'm sure it has nothing to do with Prince though.  I mean, who can resist a coach who says &@#% You to a bunch of 19 year old kids?

Care to put a friendly wager on the game, then?  You're familiar with escrow.com I'm sure -- we can use that as a safe repository.  $100 sound good? LMK/k?/lol

This is weak smack even by kitten standards :(  If you think there's a single person who likes Jim Rose in the state of Nebraska, you're even more confused than your coach.  Rose will be gone, by popular demand, by next season.

BTW, what's the purpose of that sticky up top that lists opponent's message boards?  Just curious.

Husker fans have been on this board since it was created. The even sadder part was that they tried to convince us that they were K-State fans when it was obvious that they were Huskers. Huskers are ten thousand times more obsessed about KSU football and the we have ever been about the Huskers. I think it has to do with the fact that you know your coach blows and the only reason you are ranked the way you are is because you have "history" Calahan blows cock and is worse than Mack Brown. You guys lost to USC by three scores and yet he tried his hardest not to get blown out. If you guys would have played like we played Louisville then you guys would have gotten your asses handed to you by a good forty points. &@#% THE HUSKERS YOU PIECES OF &@#%ING crap.

This clown is a riot. You don't have to even read the posts he attempts to make. Just looking at the moniker he comes in, "NUownsKSU," makes me chuckle. What kind of idiot names himself that after the recent games between the teams. At best NU can claim they were competitive and that is spreading their efforts in in 01 and 05 across several years.

I'll summarize:

In 00 the snow game in Manhattan. KSU wins by 1 point in a all time thriller.

In 01 NU wins in Lincoln by 10 behind Crouch and a solid run game.

In 02 KSU just dominates NU in Manhattan. I think the papers call it their worst whipping in 34 years.

In 03 J-Lo runs his mouth before the game and ends up getting his ass handed to him as KSU hands NU their worst loss at home in a number of years.

In 04 wasn't there some clown called LeKevin Smith that was going to "lay into KSU and beat them with a stick?" kudos to AW for running the option down their throat.

In 05 NU and KSU go head to head in what I will say was a fun game to watch as it see-sawed back and forth. NU comes out on top.

Not sure how these results translate into a "NU owns KSU" claim. At best the teams are 5 and 5 in Big XII conference play. Now if Big Red wants to come in a say "NU owned KSU in Big 8 Conference Play" we would have to agree.

I think Saturday will be a fun game. Hell they are all fun (except that TTech game last year and the damn ISU game). I do not put KSU as a favorite to win the game but I look for the team to make a game of it and play well.

I think there is a lot of angst on the Nebraska side of things. By all right they should beat us this week. They have what should be a well oiled machine while we have a brand new program and are starting 5 freshman on offense! LMAO You bet they have some angst. We have everything to gain this week and very little to lose. They have a lot on the line. ku almost wins in Lincoln. Now Nebraska goes to KSU? It's hard to comepare apples and apples. If we don't turn the ball over or have a lot of penaltys it's my opinion that we are in the game. I would say KSU is a danger to the Nebraska season right now. A win for us on Saturday would be flat out huge. A lose for Nebraska has the coach on the hot seat! So let the Game begin!!

I'm just curious..

What does any of that have to do with the fact that KSU has practically owned the Huskers this century and by devastating blowouts?

Yeah, I'd be nervous too.  Seems as though people in the polls have yet to get you guys above the Top 20 and I think many are losing faith that you really are the team you claim to be.

So if KSU wins this week, is it because you lost the game?
