Title: saw a google car

saw a google car today about a mile south of the 177  and 70 junction, it had google on the side and a tripod ontop of the car that went about 3-4 feet in the air, is this like google maps crap or something?? WTF

it was stop on the side of the road, thought about whippin a bitch and talkin to him/her (didn't pay attention, intrigued by everything else.)

You should tell them you are a minister for the church of google (http://www.thechurchofgoogle.org//).  And ask them if they are spreading the good word.

yeah, it's for street view.

You should have told them you used their maps for directions and it got you lost.  Would make him uncomfortable.

just surprised that they drive around that much, burning petro.... figure this guy would be awfully pissed about that...

yea and i'm well aware that that is what this is, i just figured they had some fancy cool way to do it, not just driving around with a camera. oh well.

I always use it. Especially for when I was looking for a house. Great to check out the neighborhood, see what everyone drives.
