obvious cry to get Students in the stand and loud. :jerkoff: Travis Ford
Guess what all you Student Season Ticket holders for OSU Men's Basketball...Coach Travis Ford wants to thank you for supporting the Cowboys all season long by giving you $10 free dollars in concession food at the Men's Basketball game tomorrow night against K-State at 6:30pm.
Just take your Student Season Ticket to the East Lobby of GIA when the doors open for the game (5:30pm) and OSU Athletics staff will hook you up with a $10 concession stand coupon. This coupon is redeemable at any concession stand in GIA. The East Lobby table will be open though halftime. The coupon is only redeemable for OSU vs. K-State on March 3, 2009.
Thank you students for your attendance, support, and cheers in helping the Cowboys get one step closer to the NCAA Tournament. Go Pokes!

Hey, let's eat our way into the tournament! Yes!
-
Wassup Frank, where is my $10 of concessions :impatient:
-
$10!? How expensive are their refreshments? That could buy each student in the bram a hot dog, nachos, a drink, AND popcorn. Depending on what size of drink/popcorn you got you may be able to buy some candy. At least now if the students aren't waiting in line on the concourse during the game they will be stuffing their faces and holding a crap ton of refreshments in their hands.

what douche rockets, talking like coach Ford is paying for this out of his own pocket :jerkoff:
Dang.... that's potentiall $16,000 out of his pocket!
I wonder how they'll keep you from going back twice?
People have been talking about Ford needing to reach out. Well, how's reaching into his pocket to pay for your pretzel, hotdog, and a coke at a game
I believe this is a sincere gesture from Ford. It's not like students holding season tickets will go to the game JUST for the free food (I don't think). I really believe Ford is trying to give a special "thanks" to these students.

:nahnah: will work against them as students spend more time at crowded concession stands they aren't in seats to yell.

Boone Pickens is a prince of a man.

I hope they all get food poisioning and spend the game in the crapter with a fierce case of the trots.

Simple laws of price and demand.

What a desperate ploy by OSU. Have they had trouble filling the student section this year?

Yes, tickets to the last two games have been $10 each. Student season tickets were $150
