Pretty much calling Aldrich the best player in the country right now.
-
Cole has played well this year, no doubt. Counting his money as we speak.
-
We love Kevin Keitzman!
-
Kietzman is one of the few K-State fans that has the ability to just tell it like it is.
-
LOL . . . but in .03 seconds the phogtards will absolutely meltdown at the slightest perceived slight of ku by Keitzman.
I don't know, I thought Griffin's 20pts/19 boards return effort against Tech was pretty solid.

:jerkoff: let me  on it, and then I'll decide that I really don't care. :blank:

I thought that ku fans hated KK?

He's pussed out of the ku game two years in a row. Durability is a factor in Kietzman's argument.

sometimes....sometimes not...

DAX you preach the truth - 99.9% of the time ukfan would just as soon piss on him than poop on him... KK is an idiot who will do anything for people to listen to his radio show. Ho hum. I wold take Blake over Big Pasty any day. Blake is a gamer, Big Pasty isn't too shabby - but Blake is the $h!T... and I hate everything that is OU.

In head2head comp, Cole held Grif to 0 pts/ 0 rebs, so it's pretty 'vious Cole >>> Grif.

Either you are suffering from the lasting damages of a concussion or you have never had one... yeah - Blake must be pretty scared of uk to go out and get consussed to not play. Please generate a logical thought.
-
So the new "legitimate point" from Bentard is that that Griffin "pussed out" of playing ku.
Fascinating.
-
that is like me saying, "I dont want to go to work today - let's see... I will eat a box of exlax, NOW I can stay home and poop all day. But at least :fullofit: I wont be at work!"
-
Hey, Kietzman is making the argument that Aldrich is more valuable to his team than Griffin. Not me. Focus your anger towards Kietz.
:curse:
-
KK is an idiot, ergo - those who agree with him are _______s too. Please fill in the blank.
-
KSUTommy... validating the West Virginia stereotype, post by post.
-
OU has mo' betta' players IMO, so saying Cole is more valuable to uk seems logical.
-
Cole has played well this year, no doubt. Counting his money as we speak.
"counting his money" as in the money he is about to receive, or the money he is already getting from the University. Surely, you can't be implying something as sinister as the latter Steve :zipped:
-
OU has mo' betta' players IMO
at what positions?
-
The latter is assumed at ku.

Getting into details defeats my whole passive approach to the internet dude. :users:
-
not sure which player i would want more on my team. leaning towards griffin ... almost certainly griffin. but aldrich's dominating defensive presence makes me indecisive on that. :dunno:
-
2 completely different players but Aldrich is dominating right now.
-
The Minnesotan is playing well.

ku fan's infatuation with KK is so weird.
He says something good about them and it's because he is setting them up for failure. He says something bad about them and it's because he's a KSUCK homer. He goes on vacation and it's because he's scared to say either. LMAO, their takes on him are hilarious, he owns them so hard.

QFT . . . I wonder how the KK boycott is going??
-
DK looks waaayyy better in his face mask then Aldrich.
-
KK once again proving he is just your typical talk radio hack...
Either:
A - he just wants the ratings and being that he is in KC and lots of Sqwauk fans listen this is a great way to bait them into calling in to profess their love for Ostertag 2.0
OR
B - he has absolutely no idea how to evaluate basketball talent, if he truly believes Aldrich is the best player in the conference.
What's with the sudden, Cole Aldrich is the next Kevin McHale arguments, GMAFB
:billypopcorn:
-
I know Kansas has the better sports tradition, both football and basketball, but we don't need KK jumping on the Kansas bandwagon.

Cole is a good ball player alright, no doubt about that. But, there's no way any sane person could say he is better than Griffin. First game back from a concussion, and he goes for 20 and 19. That game would be as good as any that Cole has played, but for Blake it was simply par for the season.
Griffin- 21.9ppg, 14.0rpg and 1.3 blocks/gm for the season.
Cole- 15.1, 10.8 and 2.5.
:dunno:
-
it's cole's presence.

it's cole's presence.
it's cole's law.
:D

it's cole's law: thinly sliced cabbage.
:D
Fixed it for ya, ECN !

KK is fantastic.
My favorite is when he gets a caller on that he disagrees with and he'll set up fantastical straw man and just be like:
"Which one? Well? Which one is it going to be? Well, I guess you can think that but I think that's really weird man. Does not go with my way of thinking at all. And I appreciate the call..."

Ah yes, the storied football tradition... since Sept 07. Obviously there is a tradition of roundball - Naismith invented it and coached at uk (too bad he had a sub .500 record) but basketball tradition - no question. Now if you pass the bong this way, I will take a hit (and I stopped doing drugs years ago) and maybe I will believe that there is a tradition of football at uk. Classic... keep 'em comin'.

that is so insane that it even goes beyond "my life sucks so bad that i'll come to my arch enemies message board and say something stupid to draw attention to myself"
i WILL give you this though... aldrich outplayed him in their recent game

ku and Oklahoma are tied for most players in the football hall of fame out of any Big 12 program. ku leads the all-time series with K-State by roughly 30 games. K-State was the first D-1 program to reach 500 losses. Your football tradition really doesn't compare all that favorably to ku's. Sorry to slap you in the face with reality like that, but it's true.
-
K-State doesn't have to look to far up the W-L list to find ku.
ku last won an outright conference title in football?? What is it now . . . 50-60 years ago or so??
If Mark Mangino were to kickoff tonight, he'd be the first coach to leave ku with a winning record in nearly 60 years.
So this "comparison" you keep talking about is really kind of, shall we say . . . stupid.
Since the inception of the Governors Cup, what is the series record between ku and K-State Bentard??

Yes, it is fantastic. Don't forget about the shock and dismay that occurs when he has the "Racin' Boys" on immediately before/after every big ku game/victory.
-
LOL @ kietz's opinions on basketball. I provoked a classic meltdown of his a few years ago on Powertard when I said he had no clue about K-State basketball. He's pretty sensitive about his own ignorance.

Hey, I'm not the one who started acting all high and mighty about our respective school's football tradition. They're both pretty weak compared to schools like Florida and USC. I just get a chuckle out of it when K-State fans act like their program is better than ku's, even after getting worked the last couple of years.
-
ksu fans have the same relationship with whitlock. it's probably a universal media hack-stupid person relationship.

Well, if you're referring to the retard portion of the ksu fanbase, they have the same relationship with Keitz, too.

I'm one of the few ku fans that kinda likes Kietz, but he does have his powertard moments every now and then. He absolutely hates Lew Perkins from what I can tell.

Yup, jut like I thought nothing about KSU being better than ku - nope not a word... insecurity on your part, maaaaaybe. I gave you props on the roundball and made fun of the fact that you used the words "tradition" and "uk futbol" in the same sentence. Bentard (© sonofdaxjones) I can ALWAYS count on you for a laugh - please continue coming back here... your posts are verging on legendary status for all the wrong reasons!

it'll take a lot of money to keep him at ukans after this season, thats for sure.
-

Why are you counting Cole's money? I hope to god they teach counting at ku.
-
cole gives an interview like a child trying to pick his favorite color. the words slowly come out of his mouth and you just want to slap his tiny pinhead and scream "lets goah, dontcha knoah" just another eric montross.
here. add him to this banner of greats...

I don't know about any of you, but I'd rather have Griffin on my team than Aldrich any day.

Keitzman's knowledge of anything related to sports would be hard to measure.

uk students don't learn to count until college? Are reading and writing graduate studies for them?

....and my point was that ku football does have a bit of tradition, just as K-State has its DoD. Gale Sayers and John Riggins are NFL hall of famers. Settle down, Tommy Boy.
:)

KK is an absolute craphead. Blake Griffin is the best player in the country no doubt in my mind. Should be interesting to watch them face off in the Big XII Title game down in OKC.
-
Did all you tards miss the part about more valuable to his team what I gather is KK was talking about who was more valuable to his team, which is probably true since uk only has 2 legit players.

Did you miss the first post of this thread? Ben stated that KK was "basically calling Cole the best player in the country."

Assuming he was talking about the more valuable player to their team...I still do not see how Griffin is not more valuable. Take Cole and Blake off their squads, ku is the better team in my opinion.
