Make no mistake...

2008-2009 KSU basketball TEAM >>>>>>>> 2007-2008 KSU basketball team


LOVED watching Beasley & Walker almost single-handedly hand last years champs a loss in the OOD and the 'Cats get into the Dance based on Beasley's name....

BUT, this team is WAY more fun to watch and WAY more of a TEAM.  Best we've had since Mitch was here and I, for one, am glad that "The Rock" got to see them play in person.

no, we were better last year. we killed teams last year, and barely lost. who have we killed this year? ttech?

Agree with your overall assessment, but I wouldn't want to discount Pullen's role in that ku win.  He was huge (20 pts to Mike's 25 and Bill's 22).

Much better last year.  We had a chance to beat anyone.  This team could never match up with some teams.  Mike/Bill gave us that last year.

That's not the point...

This is a better "TEAM", and they play MUCH harder because they have to.  Clearly, we don't have a future NBA star on the team.

Last year was fun, and next year will be great too... but these kids are just more fun to watch compete.

Agreed that last years "squad" would beat this years "squad".

This years "squad" is a better "team", imho.

it's much more amazing to watch beasley from last year after 27 games of the 2008-2009 team.

he was friggin unreal.
