Title: A Beasley Sighting
Post by: ayosaba on February 27, 2009, 01:46:40 PM
So I saw the ever illusive Johnathan Beasley today out in the wild that is Chipotle. He was in there with 2 other coaches / GA's not sure on the other two, but one might've been Gordon. Anyway I couldn't really hear what he ordered, but I know whatever it was he ordered 2 of because all I could make out was I'll have two... So either he was ordering two burrito's, one for himself and one for someone else or they were both for himself (Second Scenario more likely). And yes he looked like he was definitely enjoying Manhattan, because he had a huge grin on his face while standing in line and he was cracking jokes with the other two "coaches".

did he look over or under 300lbs?

also...he could have been answering an inquiry about how many chins he has..."I have two"

1 was for his mouth and the other was for his second chin, obviously.

I would say right at 300 pounds. In fact if I could compare him to anything it would be an actual Chipotle Burrito, you know solid compact and kind of short. So it only makes sense...

I'm always disappointed when these threads aren't about the real Beasley.

I had the same thought when i first saw this one. was like..."wtf? why is this on the fball board? then i clicked on it and went  :frown: . oh, that's why.

Pretty sure we should come up w/ a different name for JB so this confusion doesn't keep offering up one big letdown for the bbs consumer.

I will offer up the alternative of "Jonatun" but yours would work as well.

You missed the rest so I understand the error, but he said "two" as in "to kick your ass if you make it like that Kat Kid does".  hth

Just "Obese-ly" works great IMO.

I'd start using it liberally, but I probab. won't have any reason to talk about Obese-ly.  :dunno:

If you noticed, during the fb game last year, he appeared to have eaten several players before the game.

I don't know when there would be a reason to talk about Obese-ly.  Maybe an obligatory one after the first game to talk about how fat he is and then of course after Obese-ly's death from a heart attack or something.

I remember seeing Beasley as an undergrad in the local Wendy's and being all  :ksu:

This being the summer following the Holiday Bowl (a game in which the announcers telestrated Beasley's @ss because it was so large), I figured I should check out his rear end.   :ku:

I was disappointed that it wasn't  :yikes:

In fairness though, I was distracted by my friend's habit of dunking his fries into his chocolate frosty.   :lick:

In conclusion, I must say Snyder probably cracked the whip on the guy pretty good that offseason, given his subsequent blowup, but the guy was still sneaking off to Wendy's for fried goodness.   Eat that Snyder!

The last time I saw Obesely (damn brilliant nickname IMO) up close and in person was a couple of years ago at a basketball game, it was Popcorn's debut as a Wildcat IIRC.  I was like "Who is the fat guy impersonating Jonathan Beasley?"

My friend looked for a few seconds and was like "Dude.....that IS Jonathan Beasley!!"   and we were all a combination of   and  :runaway:.

The point is he was pretty fat a couple of years ago.  There was still a decent looking blond chick with him though.

I used to see him at Calvin Hall in the evenings when I was in school.  I was impressed that he was actually studying at 10:30 pm quite frequently.

Hey, is Jonathon Beasley back coaching or something at K-State?  I was getting gas in Junction and saw this ogre that kind of looked like him but unbelievably fat.
