I love this idea, great way to raise money for a good cause. I also think the pink jersey's look surprisingly good with the purple numbers too.

Gotta know who wore which pairs of shorts before I bid.
:hope:

I love the title of this thread. LOL

Jersey #2 that is Kelsey Nelson right?
It must be Jordy bidding on it because $900 is a lot for a jersey even if it is to raise money...

How much do you want to bet that Catfan28 is the highest bidder on all of these? Dude is just getting ready to go all Silence of the Lambs with lotion and pink jerseys.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State’s participation in the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association (WBCA) “Pink Zone” initiative was a success, as K-State was able to raise $15,418 for the WBCA/Kay Yow Cancer Fund. This was the second season Kansas State has participated in the Pink Zone initiative.
K-State’s online auction of the game worn pink uniforms was the largest success of the week-long initiative, as it brought in a staggering total of $12,035 for the jersey tops and shorts.
The WBCA's "Pink Zone" initiative is a global, unified effort for the WBCA’s nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The benefactor of this initiative is the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, named for the legendary North Carolina State women’s basketball coach Kay Yow, who lost her own fight with breast cancer earlier this year.
This initiative has grown from approximately 120 institutions participating in the inaugural 2007 campaign to over 650 and counting during the 2008 season. During last season’s event in Bramlage Coliseum, the Wildcats wore pink warm-up tops with the breast cancer ribbon, pink wristbands and pink shoelaces.
For more information or to donate to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, please visit www.wbca.org.
