basketball eliteness.

the season is longer/ more prestige imo. with college basketball, march madness, etc.

and basketball in general is a better game than football.

Basketball hands down. The tourney rules the world - best sports product out there imo. One player can make a difference. The Roundball season goes into the Spring... where there is nothing else going on. Last but not least, you can lose a game late in the year - to a bottom feeder and still be NC. In the BCS, if you lose late, you're Fitzed.
