Coach Prince inherited a cupboard that was—if not bare—certainly not well-stocked.

It didn't work on Mark "I hate Ron Prince" Jannsen.
Josh Freeman has teased with glimpses of potential. But his .446 completion percentage is not what any coach wants, nor is his 9-to-1 ratio in interceptions-to-touchdowns.
When he inserted Freeman over Dylan Meier a month ago, Prince said the decision was made so Kansas State could use freshman's arm strength to decorate the entire field with passes. The reality is, Freeman's only success has come with on-the-move, short-yardage tosses against an Iowa State team that had been allowing a 74 percent completion rate for the season.
And K-State has finally installed the quarterback sneak!
