^5:00min mark.
He doesn't want to have the program built around him .... WHY! I still :jerkoff: thinking about Sproles.
:nono: ? http://www.potentialplayers.com/news_events_detail.aspx?id=69 :nono: Don't even try to trump :kstatriot:

ffucck him.
We have two solid running backs in th 09 class....though if Bryce was a DT, I'd go down on him to get him to pick KSU.
-
Would love to have him but I won't be freaking out or whining if we don't pull him in... realistically I had already moved on long ago.
-
meh, I still see him as a Beasley for Football that has to stay a couple years.
-
that's crazy. it's interesting that he fears not being good. hes going to have that pressure wherever he goes. We would give him the biggest break .

You guys love the man but if he decides against KSU he'll be a pu$$y that can't stand the pressure. Kinda like the way you treated GP. Once he decided not to coach in Manhattan you guys turned on him and his #7 Horned Frogs. A little too fragile for an athlete of Bryce's ability.
Have you compared GP's recuiting class to OB's? You guys made a huge misstake. Krauss and Fitz should be forced to sit on the tobassco marinated uprights for the first home game.

FP, TC, ect. Move along here folks.

I like Bryce as a person and am completely over him coming or not coming to KSU. I discussed this with B. Butler as well...
How is he going to handle it when he goes to any of the other schools he is talking about and he is not the only talented running back. If he thinks Bill Snyder is going to put the program on his back he is sadly mistaken. Bill only puts the program on his own back. That being said, real superstars like having fans depend on them for the big play...isn't that what makes you a superstar?
He will find that having "the most talented people on the field as his teammates" will only make people doubt how good he himself really is.
That's just my two cents...
I thought some of the same things. Bryce doesn't sound like the type of guy who wants the ball with the game on the line. Some of the things he said doesn't sound like a winners mentality.

Part of the reason why his high school team went only 6-3 and didn't even get to the playoffs...

If all of what he says is true why didn't he just sign last week like everybody else? To me he is drawing attention to himself by putting it off this long and whomever he decides to go with will be expecting very big things from this young man. That's just part of his life. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it but quit acting like you are bigger and better than everyone else and sign when everyone else does. To me the difference between what he is saying and how he is acting is night and day. If you don't want to be the best player on the team then what do you want to be?
-
If he doesn't want all the attention, why is he hanging out with Butler? :jerkoff:
-
Did you guys see Jake Sharp's hs record? 34-2 what a winner :peek:
:scared:
-
He just doesn't want to come here - he wants a NC and that is that. If he says he doesn't want a program built around him, I call :bs: I dont know ANY superstar who wouldn't want to be "the man" on a team. Nah, IMO - we weren't really in the running ever... he just did the footwork to make his mom happy.
I have been ready to move on for a while now.
-
He should enjoy being a 1.5 year starter at Miami. Sounds like he will be more than happy to ride some pine for 3 years.

I agree with you TP!!! One thing I might add... Bryce and his advisers have one thing on their minds - NFL. When I look at Bryce he is not even close to the specimen D Evans was coming out of high school. D was by far one of the most "developed" athletes to ever come out of the state of Kansas. Unfortunately, he too was a product of his "advisers" (aka parents) and only one thing mattered... THE NFL.
I feel sorry for Bryce! It's obvious the pressure is getting to him, and it is all caused by his advisers. If I were them I would concentrate on improving the mental aspect of his game rather than his 40 time. He is obviously soft between the ears. No disrespect, but come on!
D was very similar. He was somewhat soft between the ears. When he faced significant adversity, he was not prepared to deal with it. Now, I don't think it was his fault, rather the environment he grew up in.
I just hope Bryce doesn't fall into the same pitfalls, and recognizes once he steps foot on campus he is nothing but another bad ass player putting on the pads. College ball is very similar to the NFL. It is a what have you done lately, not what did you do in the past.
Due to his weak mind set, I am of the opinion he would not fit into the "lunch pale" mentality CS rules by. I hope he turns out to be successful, I'm just afraid he's already been ruined by those around him....

Bryce brown being talked about on ESPN. "Soap Opera" and "Primadonna" both being mentioned. Saying that teams are going to have to de-recruit him in order for him to fit in to a team atmosphere.

Primadonna? He is going to fit right in! The only thing that would be better is if they used the catch-words "team cancer".

FP is feeling a bit left out.
