line of reasoning.
Help me with it.
We are playing with the players left over from the previous regime on the defensive side of the ball, have instituted a new defensive scheme and currently have a defense worthy of the Top 25.....if they had offensive help would probably even rank higher. The DL, arguably the most important position on the field, has stepped up and delivered thus far.
We are playing with the players left over from the previous regime on the offensive side of the ball, have instituted a new offensive scheme and currently have an offense that can't score, makes multiple mistakes, looks undisciplined, turns the ball over and generally looks in dissarray. The OL, arguably the most important unit on the field, can't block the sun to make a shadow and doesn't appear to be improving.
Look beyond this reasoning....look well beyond it.

They are improving.

If our head coach wasn't alleged to be an o-line genius, it wouldn't be quite so dire...but if this is the extent of his coaching prowess, the offense is fubared.
Also, don't underestimate the importance of the QB run game (and QBs capable of running it) to last years offense. That package can take an average o-line and move the ball. This zone blocking BS can take an average o-line, and make them look completely inept.

They are improving.
Are you sure? There's nothing to suggest any type of improvement.
Worst yds/rush, worst total yds, and most sacks of the season against Baylor.
