Anyone been there? I'm going for a four week summer school session. It is based in Asolo, Italy.
Looking for recommendations on places to go in Europe. During the school session I have three different 3-day weekends (Thurs even. - Sun. night) to travel around, so if you have any good ideas it'd be nice to hear them w/ dos don'ts and whys.
Also, just looking to hear of about your experiences if you have ever been in that area.
Thanks compadres :beerchug:

Spent a couple nights in the Austrian Alps about 10 years ago. Think of it like the Rockies but less litter and quaint villages instead of broken down pickup trucks in front of trailers. Definitely worth the visit.

Go to Thailand instead.

Thinking about Barcelona, Prague, Germany (maybe?), etc. as well.
I've heard flights there are fairly cheap, and I'd like to see as much as possible.

Maybe Rome?

I was watching Rick Steves go around that water place last night. Seems cool if you like old, smelly stuff.

Why spend so much time traveling? If you're in Italy, see Italy. It's like one of the best places you could ever visit.

I'm traveling to Prague for one of my travel weekends. Probably gonna go check out the Pilsner Urquell brewery for starters.

Italian Job? I think I remember them cruising around the "streets" in motorboats and stuff.

Pull up to a BK drive through and when they open the door to give you your fries just peel out in your boat and splash them with water. You can yell, "I didn't even want fries sucka!"

x2. I actually skipped Rome when I was in Italy.
If you find yourself in the heel of the boot, you could take a boat from Brindisi over to Corfu, Greece, and get your Spring Break drunk on at the Pink Palace for a couple of days.

Been there. Take my advice and stay in the US. Waaaaay better IMO.

My neck was in those woods not too long ago. Venice was nice for a day, probably would get old after that. I dig a city that has no cars. Croatia was very cool, as was most of Greece. By far best seafood I've ever ate was in the region and I love the beers, (Italian = Peroni and Moretti are great, Greece = Mythos).

Might be going to a AC Milan game. I hear Italy, like the rest of the world except for the U.S., is way into soccer.

Try the Santa Maria beach there in Italy. You won't need a suit.
