Title: Our WRs not west coast type
Post by: opcat on October 01, 2006, 07:44:24 PM
Anyone think so ?

WCO WRs are big and usually block DBs with their bodies for those short 6-10 yard gains.

Our WRs are not physical and don't run routes and shake DBs.  They are more straight line guys that are easy to cover. Good for Snyder offenses that went play action.

Wrong?

that's why we're recruiting 5'8'' scatbacks so we can convert them to receivers or cb's that will be dominated by texas tech

Were these guys all that good in Snyder's offense?  Could it be that they just aren't good players?

That's it right there my friend... they're just not that good.  I think Nelson could be a very good receiver but he's going to learn how to run routes.  Those are some of the laziest routes I've ever seen in my life.
