Just received an email from ticketmaster that had a link to this....

$55 tickets and thousands of dollars worth of donations to get in the house will do that to you.

Economy is hitting the blue bloods too, high priced tickets are losing their draw.

Look at some of the other big names last games

UCLA v Notre Dame
11492 / 12829 capacity

UNC v Virginia
20879 / 21750 capacity

for example

My congrats BTW to the Purple faithful for keeping the bunker near capacity this year.
Despite a Non con shedule of nobodies and an 0-4 start it has been relatively full.
\Next week is your Super Bowl and I'm sure it will be filled.
Unlike the Paige who still has tickets available.

No, these tickets were $35, each, or $5 more than what big brother charges.  :lol:

Have received that e-mail from Ticketmaster for a few weeks now.  Funny stuff.

They should just start giving the tickets away to homeless people in Lawrence.  It won't hurt the overall smell of the place too much & it will help boost the town's homeless RPI rating.

maybe some people in lawrence don't like basketball.   not everyone would take free tickets

That's actually kind of sad the fans don't support a pretty fair product.  Same phenomenom the football team went through last year when "fans" realized a non-pastry schedule means no over inflated ranking.
