Post by: Kat Kid on February 08, 2009, 03:16:29 PM
I'll start.

"It may be Valentine's Day, but there is no love lost between these two in-state rivals."

"It may be Valentine's Day, but these two teams are in a custody battle for the title of best basketball team in the state of Kansas.

"It may be Valentine's Day, but there is not a lot of love in the air here at Bramlage Coliseum." (cut to shot of elite booing)

It may be Valentine's Day, but hatred has hardened the black hearts here in Manhattan, Kansas, and we're about to witness one of the most negative and derogatory environments on planet Earth here in the hellish cavern they call Bramlage Coliseum.

"It may be Valentine's Day, but there is no love lost between these two in-state rivals."

This is, by far, the front-runner.  I would put the odds of this being used at ~90%, with the field at 10%.
