Unbelievable. :notworthy:
-
He's my all time favorite stand-up. I saw him once in person. It's a shame he was a herion addict.
-
I saw him in person and laughed the hardest I've ever laughed in my life.
-
I never got the opportunity to see him in person, something I always wanted to do, and was so pissed when he died. He is definately the greatest comedien of all time.

Yes. Marques Hayden was there after missing the CU game earlier that day with "migranes".

Classic. Wasn't that also the game a few fans saw marques walking down the bramlage concourse 30 minutes before David Harrison and Ricardo Patton raped Wooly?
-
I don't think CU had Harrison then. They were an 11th place win that cruised into Manhattan and won by double digits.
I think people saw Marques warming up, though.
-
hmmm..let me look this up.
-
Good call. No Harrison.
LOL. A 2-6 team waltzed into Bramlage and drill us by 10 points.

Yeah. I asked him why he wasn't there. He said "Ask my coach."

Bill Hicks was better.
David Cross currently is better.
Hedberg still=genius however.
-
Bill Hicks was better.
Possibly. I don't agree, though.
David Cross currently is better.
Whining about for Republicans for an hour gets tiresome.
-
My favorite comedian now (after Hedberg died) is Jim Gaffigan.

I like him, but not sure I like him for $25.75. Plus, the next day, the Wildcats take on mighty TENNESSEE TECH. Can't miss that.

wow, totally agree. Its hard to find good stand up nowadays, insead you get "last comic standing" and Dane Cook.
-
IMO- it doesn't get any better than Dane Cook and Lewis Black, but Mitch was pretty damn funny too.

Dane Cook needs to quit jacking other people's acts/jokes, plus his head is too big for his body.
Cook = Turd

Ugh. I didn't realize you were one of those.

I'm not a republican, I just think David Cross's act is lame.
His bit on use of the word "literal" is something else I thought of that was completely lame.
He just takes himself too seriously too often in his act.

Style of humor I guess. I don't hear the same things that you do.

Agreed
He just takes himself too seriously too often in his act.
I don't know if I could disagree any more. Self-deprecation is abundant.
How one listens to his bits about Electric Scissors, The Squagle, "the redneck voice", and the South and not find it funny is beyond me.

No and yes.

His stuff about growing up in the south is kind of funny.
Maybe I need to check him out again. I just remember getting completely turned off and not making it through an entire show.
-
I guess the main reason I like David Cross is that DOESN"T take anything too seriously. Especially on issues that are VERY seriouos to some.
Race,
Religion,
Drugs,
Abortion
You name it...
all the taboos are fair game and fodder and he just let's it fly.
"There is one good one good thing that has come out of this Iraq war, let's be honest...10000 less Iraqis." D. Cross in one of his one thousand sarcastic takes
"I was watching that show where there's a guy on stage and everybody in the audience believes he talks to the dead and spirits talk to him..?.(audince suggests a few Tv shows)......."uh..no no no....It was church."
