Title: Big 12 Experience rankings
Post by: michigancat on February 02, 2009, 06:57:47 AM
I know Martinites drone on about talent all the time, but experience makes crappy talent better.  Not sure how much.  Interesting, though.

1)  Baylor (average 2.06 years of experience per player)
2)  Texas (1.93)
3)  Nebraska (1.89)
4)  Oklahoma St. (1.87)
5)  Oklahoma (1.74)
6)  Texas A&M (1.71)
7)  Missouri (1.64)
8)  Texas Tech (1.62)
9)  Iowa State (1.56)
10) Kansas State (1.40)
11) Colorado (0.99)
12) Kansas (0.90)

Yes, they stand out the most.  Seems strange.  Maybe they have a bunch of junior and senior walk ons?

UT and BU seem slightly disappointing on the exp*talent scale, but not as much as OSU.

Having Eaton Playing like 12 years makes this figure a little skewed does it not?

having senior and soph mcdonald's aas to go with a junior 5 star and a senior 4 star makes it look like you should be a better team, correct.

Doesn't tell the whole story.  ku has an experience player but he's good.  K-state has Darren Kent.
