Post by: doom on February 02, 2009, 06:23:28 AM: I don't think it will be. I accepted Transformers the second I heard the correct noise during transformations. I think what I'll be looking for in gi joe is that they shoot blue and red lazers from their guns and never hit anything the entire movie.

I'll vouch for the quality of the cartoon movie. Top notch entertainment IMO. However, I always thought Star Scream was a bit bitchy, always whining about something.

August 24, 2007 - Who needs A Real American Hero? Not Paramount or Hasbro it seems. The studio's live-action feature film version of G.I. Joe will no longer revolve around a top-secret U.S. special forces team but rather an international operation.

In a follow-up to their confirmation that Stephen Sommers will direct G.I. Joe, Variety offers this new description of the team: "G.I. Joe is now a Brussels-based outfit that stands for Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, an international co-ed force of operatives who use hi-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil organization headed by a double-crossing Scottish arms dealer. The property is closer in tone to X-Men and James Bond than a war film."

Maybe he'll lose his hair in an explosion mid-movie and be so dismayed at his new grotesque appearance that he'll grab a C3-PO helmet and start kicking people.

Was youtube even around ten years ago? Either way, I hadn't seen them, so they were new to me.
