Not a Chiefs fan, but Mike S. is 1-5 in the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl with Elway. Now, Thigpen is not the second coming of Elway, but he does fit the same mold. If I were a Chiefs fan I would be all for Haley.

Same mold??? please Elway is a legend and HOFer, Thigpen is nearly just a passer-byer.

John Elway > Croyle, Thigpen, Huard, any other Chefs QB in the next 10 yrs
Terrell Davis > LJ, Charles, Smith, anyone else Chefs will have in the next 10 yrs

do I dare keep going??  :bootyshake:

Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis and Reuben Droughns all had 1,000 yard seasons for the Broncos so I have a feeling that if we can get the offensive line right, which would get started by taking Eugene Monroe in the draft, HCMS could turn me into a 1,000 yard back.

TD was far and away the better of those backs for those 2-3 yrs... Portis might have an argument but  :jerkoff:

Can't wait to hear this line over and over in every game: Coach Shanahan scripts the first 15 plays of the game!

none of those were 2,000 yr backs but TD. TD also had  another season with 1700+. Next was Portis with 1500+ then again TD with 1300+.... just saying

Got a new name on the list. I've gotta say.....He sure gets alot of interest for someone who hasn't ever coached before. Of course he's not the only one on the list that you could say that about.

Retiring, hasn't been away long enough to consider a comeback yet and he would probably want control and GMSP isn't giving anybody control of anything.

What exactly did Pioli do at New England?  I can't understand any tasks that would go with his job title.  Chiefs fans should just have been happy with their 2 wins a year and call it a moral victory when every other year you might split the series with Denver.

K-State was pretty racist after firing Ron Prince, why isn't all of KC isn't a racists for firing Herm?

It's not racist. It's, like, putting down a race horse that breaks it's leg. You might love the horse, but you don't want to pollute the herd's gene pool, and having broken legs everywhere, by letting it breed.

Peter King did "Five Good Minutes" on PTI today and quickly squashed any possibility, not that we thought there was any possibility to begin with, of the major names taking any jobs this year so, therefore, I've taken their names off of the list.

What about player personal and scouting, drafting, and player evaluation don't you understand?  Is he Mike Shanahan, who can find future stars like Maurice Clarrett?  Probably not.

read it.

Found out that his birthday is the same as mine (Day and Month, not Year)
He is really good at riding belichick's accomplishments and getting a high paying job for doing basically nothing.
Chiefs will still suck.

Maurice Clarrett sucked, it's too bad that you don't think he can draft any better than Clarett.

I am not sure what you mean by the but I read an article that stated that Haley has had no communication with Pioli and has no intentions to become the next chiefs head coach... That article came out today so it is fresh.

Coaches never "intend" to leave or land somewhere else and then suddenly they end up leaving and landing somewhere else.
