Title: love that inbounds play from under our own basket
Post by: ksudrew on January 22, 2009, 01:25:10 AM
guaranteed five second call and turnover proof - good trade for creating absolutely no opportunity to score out of it.  now if we just had another offensive set as effective :skillz:

"It"'s actually a lot of set plays out of one formation.  And it got a couple wide open 3's last night (which were missed).

This is one that should be thrown in with the other "bad coaching" thread.  About where your "did gpc shutdown" comment was posted.

no, you didn't - that was the point we didn't have either

"guaranteed five second call and turnover proof" means neither will happen with that inbounds play - course we won't ever create a shot opportunity with that play either.  You know, the one where one of our bigs starts about half way down on one side of the lane, holds off his man as he retreats towards the free throw line, catches the lob overhead at about the free throw line, hands it off to a gaurd who resets a nonexistent offense.  BUT at least NO 5 second call or turnover that MIGHT happen if we actually tried to create a shot opportunity on a baseline inbounds play.
