Title: The Bright Side
Post by: catsfan20052006 on January 21, 2009, 10:12:48 PM
We've already played two ranked teams and the surprise of the Big XII, at least at home, in Nebraska and 6 out of our next 7 look winnable:

at Colorado W
Missouri W
at Texas L
Iowa State W
at Texas A&M W
Texas Tech W
Kansas W

What happens if we're 6-5 with 5 games to go?

The only bright side I can find is that Sutton played well.  At least he hasn't quit.  Yet.

Mizzou just went into Stillwater and rolled by 20 something. Iowa St. is a pick em.  This team going to College Station and winning,  :nono:. Tech maybe.  ku?  Did you watch the Baylor game?

Plane crashes for 3/4 of the teams in the Big 12?  Is this a riddle?

They started trying w/ about 4 minutes left, too.  Pullen's missed layup was almost a nice moment.

2 maybe 3 wins . . . this team is completely lost out there and Frank doesn't have the first clue.  But he does run multiple defenses.

You ever notice how nice the guys are when the cops show up for a domestic violence call on Cops?  But you know he beats the holy hell out of that bitch the second the cops leave.

Frank's just in fightin, clawin, scratchin mode.  Most K-Stater's get all  :dancin: if they hear their coach talkin about fightin, clawin and scratchin out there.

Dude looks horrible doing it, but he keeps putting in 10+ every night and playing good D.  Just wish he was doing that coming off our bench.   Not sure why he starts over JamSam.  Samuels' upside blows Kent out of the water.

you know how everyone is bitching about why dunn was open against the zone all night long (wasn't actually all night, but it felt like it).  a lot of that was samuels' fault.  that's a big part of why he doesn't start/get more minutes.

Not sure why we didn't switch out of that zone.  Matching Samuels with a guard doesn't sound like the best idea to me.
