Left-hander Jimmy Gobble agreed Monday to a $1.35 million, one-year contract with the Kansas City Royals, a slight raise from the $1,312,500 he earned a year ago.

Obviously we did this because they couldn't find any other left-handed bullpen help. I don't like the guy but we need depth in the bullpen.

gmafb the only time they should ever put gobble in is when we are already getting pounded by 10+ runs.

I hate the guy too just sayin you can never have enough bullpen help.

Hopefully McClure can perform a miracle and turn him into the Jimmy Gobble of 2007 where he was a decent..Mahay sounded quite confident in the lefties in the bullpen at fanfest. but if gobble has another year like last...  :suicideispainless:
