They're doing this thing on ESPN.com where you can vote for which sports personalities would make your state's Mount Rushmore. Among the K-Stater's, and other greats, that you can vote for:
Ernie Barrett
George Brett
Len Dawson
Lon Kruger
Barry Sanders
Bill Snyder
Frank White
I'd probably have to put Mr. Barrett, George Brett, Lon Kruger and Bill Snyder on my mountain.
Discuss!

ESPN does some really stupid sh*t.
-
Have you heard of at least half of those people? Cause if you haven't there's really no reason for you to be posting on a sports message board.

Ok, time for photoshop !!!
-
Now we just have to figure out how to photoshop the images of the athletes onto the mountain. It just occurred to me.....Aren't the Royals and Chiefs technically Missourians?
-
Shouldn't you actually have to play/coach in Kansas for it to be relevant?
-
If you can only pick 4:
Ernie, George, Barry & Bill.
-
Those would be my four

QFT
In case you didn't know the Royals nor the Chiefs are associated with Kansas.

George married a girl from Wichita...good enough.
Leonard probably lives in Kansas now...close enough.
Frank shouldn't even be on this list, so it doesn't really matter.

Most of the Royals and Chiefs that live in the area live in JoCo. Most think its bad enough they have to work in misery.

My vote would be for Bill x 4

"Wilt Chamberlain (Kansas Jayhawks) - 2-time 1st-team All-American, lost 1957 NCAA Title to UNC in 3OT (Tournament MVP), holds school's career records of 29.9 PPG and 18.9 RPG"
Nevermind the fact that Wilt bolted after just two years at ku as the highlights of his college career were being the target of terrible racism in Lawrence (some things never seem to change), and getting a urinary tract infection from some ku whore.
Yeah, put him on that wall of 'Kansas' sports stars.
-
The results are in:
Barry Sanders
Wilt Chamberlain
Danny Manning :nono:
Jim Ryun :nono:
-
Joe Leonard
Eric Chenowith
Brook Berringer
Roy Williams
