i'm not sure they can beat baylor but i think they'll finish strong. :beerchug: :kstatriot:
frank isn't a bad coach and the team isn't that bad. They are young and need some time to round into form. Keep in mind that next year is going to be a solid team and probable ncaa tournament team IMO. You can't expect a bunch of 2-4 star players to show up on campus and kick butt from day one. Your players have improved, some more than others and it's only a matter of time...be patient.

srsly?
i'm not a fan of frank's strategy defensively at times. He seems to invite wide open looks from 3 on screen hedges and leaves a lot of open driving lanes. Part of that is the players fault though. They play their asses off though and that is the most important thing.
I missed the NU game so I can't comment on that one.
Offensively Pullen seems to be in the middle of a sophmore slump and without any consistent interior threat he's going to be pressured all game. I'm not sure colon and kent are ready to really have offense run through them in the post and that seems to be what frank wants them to do. Both of them have improved a lot, colon in particular but against guys like aldrich and griffin they are still a ways away.

that pretty much summed up the NU game tons of drives and dishes and lots of open lanes and backdoor cuts. :crybaby:

when a coach gets young kids to play hard on the defensive end they can be a little overzealous in the passing lanes and get burned. Frank will learn from this season and tighten things up as the year goes on. I wouldn't worry about it, MU also lost at Neb. They must be doing something right up there after a horrible non-con.
