K-State’s Baldwin to miss rest of season
By HOWARD RICHMAN The Kansas City Star
MANHATTAN, Kan. | Kansas State junior cornerback Bryan Baldwin will miss the rest of the season because of an undisclosed injury, coach Ron Prince said Tuesday.
Baldwin started all four games, and was coming off a season-most five tackles against Louisville. Baldwin, who had one interception, will be replaced by junior Byron Garvin, who’ll make his first start in 2006.
Prince added that senior quarterback Dylan Meier will start Saturday at Baylor, and that junior tight end Rashaad Norwood is practicing with the team, and could play, although he is not listed first or second on the depth chart. Norwood missed the Louisville game because he was suspended after being arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct.

That hurts.

&@#%. It's always somethin'.

Baldwin was definitely our best, but we are fairly deep as long as Anderson stays off the field.
Hopefully Moore will play at nickel for the most part.

this sucks.
i was very happy with the trio of mckinney, baldwin and garvin. that's a nice nickel group.
is josh moore now the nickel guy?
i wish cheatham had game.

We are very deep at CB.

I've been impressed with Moore thus far, at least. But losing Baldwin still blows. I didn't even notice him get hurt...?

We are very deep at CB.
besides the fact that McKinney sux.

Now that Watts is back to his old self..
I'm not too worried with the type of defense we're playing. Some good experience is going to come out of this.

This sucks.
I also saw Archer limping off, anything on his status?
-
I think Cheatham will start seeing the field more.

Yes. They retaped his ankle and he was back a few plays later.
