I don't understand it.  I'm just glad that Smoltzy is back on top this baseball offseason, seeing as I have 3, 3, of his upper deck rookie card.

'member that one year when the Royals were kinda good the year before and so they decided to spend some cash by obtaining crafty veterans Benito Santiago and Juan Gonzalez?  Has there been a bigger WTF in modern Royals history?

ps.  Sorry to hijack your yahoo list thread with baseball chatter

Solved the Lisa Bonet aspect:

She just had a kid and named it the following:

Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa

KSU needs to start recruiting him now.  Add him to the list of Aaron Schwartzendruber, Belvis Noland, Jeremetrius Butler, Pervis Pasco, and other fantastic KSU names.

To this day I still give Trasel Rone as a name all the time... wedding guestbooks, credit card signups to get a free t-shirt, etc.

Yeah Benito was almost fifty and Gonzalez basically just quit after a few weeks of sucking iirc.

Also figured that we prob would have been debating who was hotter...Lisa Bonet or Jasmine Guy, but talking about old crappy royals players is fun too.

I have a Kevin Seitzer autographed baseball in my garage. 8-)

That upper right corner looks a little dinged up. You need to unload that on the cheap, you let me know. I know a guy that knows a guy.

Ill probably retire off my Brett Favre and Barry Sanders signed rookie cards.

My dad on the other hand could retire off his signed Elway, Mantle and and all those other guys rookie cards. Plus his autographed Jarrod Cooper football

Was at opening day 2004 when we came back from 4 down in the bottom of the ninth to win it on a Mendy Lopez walk off homer.  Love Mendy.

Funniest part was that we had Matt "Home Run Crusher" Stairs in the on deck circle as the pinch hitter first.  Then for some reason we sent Mendy Lopez up to bat.  Maybe some kid saw an angel rubbing his shoulders or something.   :dunno:
