Title: Arthur Brown to Transfer
Post by: Gooch on January 06, 2009, 01:56:39 PM: Got some info today on Arthur today. He was in Wichita and did not attend Miami's bowl game. Was told that he plans on enrolling at Butler as to not have to sit a year. Why would he not transfer and redshirt. Did he use the redshirt this year or can you not use the redshirt on the transfer year?

I checked the UM website, and yes he "played" in the bowl. He also "played" in a total of eleven games this year. Dude only had 4 freaking tackles all year, 2 of which were solo. Think Miami fans are pissed?

Why would he go to JUCO leaving him 3 years to play 2? He could come to K-State redshirt leaving him 3 years to play 3. Nice try. The Brown Bros. & Harper are not coing to K-State. Move along nothing to see here.

I talked to arthur at the emerald bowl. he didn't talk back to me, but i talked to him.

Pretty sure Harper was redshirted this past season. That's why he was dressed for every home game. I think that means he already came to K-State.
