Patterson would turn into a complete blathering, mentally melting down pile of mush in the SEC.
He doesn't have the temperment for any type of pressure head coaching job . . . he's better off toiling away as DFW's 8th choice in front of 10,000 empty seats and a crowd more interested in tailgating and providing an occasional golf clap.

Kind of a mediocre BCS job. Would be great to get BV some 'sperience and see if he can be a successful head coach, then bring him in to replace uncle Bill.
