MANHATTAN, Kan. – Legendary coaches Gene Keady and Charlie Spoonhour, along with current Wildcat mentor Bob Huggins, will be the featured speakers at the annual Kansas State men’s basketball coaching clinic, which is set for Saturday, November 4 at Bramlage Coliseum.
The clinic, which will begin at 8 a.m., will include presentations by Keady, Spoonhour, former Wildcat and current Cloud County Community College head coach Kevin Muff as well as Huggins and his coaching staff. Clinic participants will also be able to attend the pre-game workout and shootaround prior to Kansas State’s exhibition game with Washburn.
The cost of the clinic is $90, which not only includes admission to the clinic, lunch, parking and pre-game workout and shootaround observation. The cost with a game ticket to the exhibition game is $100. The cost for additional staff members is $70 ($80 with a game ticket).
A native Kansan, Keady became one of the winningest coaches in Big Ten history during his 25-year tenure at Purdue. He guided the Boilermakers to over 500 victories, 18 NCAA Tournament appearances and six Big Ten titles. He was named Big Ten Coach of the Year on a record seven occasions, while he was National Coach of the Year four times. A football and baseball lettermen at Kansas State, he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the university in 1958 and 1964.
Inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997, Spoonhour compiled 750 wins and a .707 winning percentage during his 38-year coaching career, which spanned the high school, community college and university ranks. He coached nearly 20 years at the Division I level, including nine years at Missouri State, seven at Saint Louis and three at UNLV. A noted broadcaster, he is also a member of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and National Junior College Basketball Hall of Fame.
A basketball lettermen at Kansas State from 1984-86, Muff is currently the head coach at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kan. Last year, Muff guided the Thunderbirds to a 24-9 overall record and a share of the Western Division title in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
Individuals can register for the coaching clinic by sending a check payable to Huggins Enterprises to the men’s basketball office at 1800 College Avenue, Bramlage Coliseum, Suite 133, Manhattan, KS 66502 or online at www.kstatesports.com.

I guarantee that you won't be the only one, and that they aren't going to ask who/where you coach when you send in your check.
This is about money & making contacts. Just send in your check if you want to go, the only time people will ask where you coach is when you're sitting around eating and bs'n, just tell people you coach your daughter's aau team or something and no one will pay any attn to you.
