Title: Smith Center Redmen
Post by: Thin Blue Line on November 29, 2008, 03:28:55 PM
Won their 5th consecutive state championship today. Winning streak now at 66 games. The team rushed for over 6,300 yards this year. Not bad.

It's a small school in north central Kansas that was home to Brooks Barta and Mark Simoneau.

I listened to most of this game and they interviewed Brooks whose dad happens to coach smith center.  Only thing of relevance is what he thought of hiring Snyder and he said he thought he looked refreshed and wouldn't be surprised if he stays at least five years. He also said he would succeed because of his determination.
