Look at his minutes, his coach is horrible.

Mike has looked pretty bad in recent games.  So sluggish and disconnected.  Yikes.

Spoelstra does seem to be in over his head.  Just looks completely lost.

13 minutes, didn't even start. nice to see Miami sh1tting all over him while other rookies like Mayo and Rose are showcased in their offenses.

His coach keeps yanking him after one defensive mistake, he can't get in any sort of groove at all.  The media have been all over him about it.

yeah... i think they overreact when up against a bigger club, which was the deal tonite... sort of wish he'd gone later to have more touches (like mayo does this year, and durant had last year)

13 mins?  WTF?  He didn't get hurt, did he?  Maybe he's being traded to the Knicks for Starbury.  AWESOME- New rumor!  (tabbing GPC to see how long 'til it gets picked up).

Mike really didn't look into it when he was out there tonight.

One thing that really sticks out to me is that Mike is quiet on the floor.  Doesn't communicate much with his teammates.  This is surprising.

Clearly misses Manhattan.

Clearly misses Manhattan.

For sure. You can see it in his eyes.

My dad actually mentioned tonight that Mike always looks pissed when he's on the floor for the Heat, never smiling, always looks like he is not enjoying playing.  Hopefully, when he gets more comfortable out there, his real attitude will come back.  Plus, it's gotta be hard when his dumbass coach pulls him every &@#%ing time he makes any mistake.

There are A LOT of people who take pleasure in watching Mike struggle.  A lot more than there are who enjoy watching, say, Derrick Rose struggle.  I don't get it.  Is it that he seems to take the game so lightly - that it's too easy for him?  The Trailblazers' announcers, during the game in PDX the other night, were saying things like, "...and this guy was supposed to compete for rookie of the year!  Doesn't look like THAT's gonna happen."  Disgusting.  Why all the hate?

This from, I might add, the announcers for the team that drafted the biggest big man bust since Michael Olowakandi.

no doubt the reason for looking the way he does on the court. Mike is not used to the role of second fiddle, let alone a bench player on any team. His pool boy coach is a clueless POS.

it's &@#%ing disgusting. all goes back to the horrible image the media has painted him to be dating back to last year.

Too bad those sorry sons of bitches didn't get to know Mike like we do.  (Well, sort of anyway, it's not like I've actually met the man.)  Mike is one of the most endearing athletic figures to come along in a while.  You can't help but like that goofy bastard.  Seriously, the guy is like 6'9" and wears Sponge Bob pants.  That crap is funny.
