A couple of things that I'm happy about in this game...
4 players in double figures
81% at the charity stripe
No 3's for uk in the second half
Came back from 14 down in the second half
Made uk turn the ball over 30+ times
Fun game to watch, obviously frustrating at times, but I think in the grand scheme of things, this is about as good of a loss as you can get.
just my two cents

It would have been "about as good of a loss as you can get" if the 'Cats had just lost to North Carolina in NC.

Def. not as upset as I was during certain conference games last year- @UNL, @TT, @'Zou. Early in the year, these games can be used to teach and motivate. In the conference losses, we just did the stupid crap that causes teams to lose games. If the team learns the right lessons, games like this are how young players learn NOT to make those mistakes in Lincoln, Lubbock, Columbia et al.

No, I think that would be a much worse loss. We're gonna lose some games this year. Not sure if everyone thought we'd go undefeated or something, but we're not. A loss early in the season to a team that will probably end up in the tourney doesn't bother all that much. Losing the NC game would probably force me to swallow a fistful of Xanax.
